Our story

Born inside atrain

atrain impact grew out of atrain GmbH, where we have spent years helping people develop and grow. Again and again, we heard the same reflection: “I wish I had learned this when I was younger.” As parents and professionals, we began asking ourselves: Why wait until adulthood to develop the skills that help us navigate life?

2020
Where it all began
During the pandemic, we started offering pro-bono workshops on stress management and resilience for kindergarten caregivers.
Then
The first support
The city council funded ten additional workshops, allowing us to continue our work and explore opportunities to reach more children.
The turn
Parents opened the door
When reaching schools proved challenging, parents helped us create new connections. Their interest and encouragement opened the door to our first school collaboration.
Today
Growing through partnerships
Today, we work with schools and partners in the Bamberg region, delivering workshops and development journeys for young people, teachers and school leaders.
